Our History

We began our journey in the front room of a family home in South Wales, where a simple conversation gradually transformed into a vibrant reality. Little by little, new faces and fresh ideas joined the small bubble we had initially created. We utilized local resources, nearby areas, community members, friends, and the natural beauty of our region to capture the essence of our brand.

In the early days, we lacked a clear vision but held onto a sense of what we wanted our brand to embody—something simultaneously pretty yet gritty, wild yet poised, elegant yet fierce, akin to a woman in her power. As time passed and life unfolded, we learned many lessons during our early stages. We started with one-size designs made from recycled and repurposed fabrics and later expanded into new fabrics and garment types while staying true to our core essence.

With growing experience came enhanced skills and a deeper passion for design and thematic exploration. We built a network of collaborators, including graphic artists, illustrators, organic printers, photographers, videographers, and manufacturers, spanning not only the UK but the world over. Through shared dreams and intentions, these pieces gradually came together until one day we stepped back and realized the magnitude of what we had achieved.

This realization marked a pivotal moment when we bravely chose to rebrand and rename. Initially known as Stone Circle, a name that felt natural and liberating, we eventually recognized the need to embrace a new identity—one that acknowledged our growth, resilience, and journey. Thus, in late 2023, Ancient Earth was born—a name that embodies the evolution and soulful essence of our brand today.
