Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Ancient Earth, we hope you love your purchase. However, if you are not fully satisfied, we gladly accept returns in accordance with UK consumer protection legislation. Please read the following information carefully before initiating a return.

Return Eligibility

  • UK Orders: Returns for full-price items are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date.

  • International Orders: Returns are accepted within 28 days of the delivery date.

  • Sale Items: In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Protection Law 2025, sale items are eligible for return, exchange, or store credit within 14 days (UK) or 30 days (international) of receipt.

Returned items must be in original condition—unworn, unwashed, and unaltered—with all tags, barcodes, and original packaging intact. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on jewellery unless the item is faulty.

We recommend trying on items upon receipt to ensure return windows can be met.

How to Return

To return your item(s), please include either the original return slip or a note with the following:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Return address

  • Whether you’re requesting a refund, exchange, or store credit

We advise using a tracked and signed-for postal service, as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit.

Exchanges

We offer size or colour exchanges on clothing items within 30 days of receipt. As our collections are made in small runs, we recommend contacting us quickly to reserve your desired item.

  • Outbound postage for exchanged items is complimentary

  • Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from the date of issue. They may be used in part or full, and in combination with other payment methods.
Items purchased using a gift voucher can be exchanged but are not eligible for cash refunds.

Returns Processing & Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take up to 7 working days to appear, depending on your bank.

  • Exchanges will be shipped promptly upon approval, with no additional postage fees.

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your return has been processed. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t received it.

International returns may take up to 25 working days, depending on your local postal service and customs processing.
